Artisan Flooring
Artisan range provides a floorscape of texture that creates the rich
aesthetic. The planks are individually and artfully handscraped by craftmen
so no two planks are exactly the same. The authentic distressed look will
add character and a sense of timelessness to any interior space.
Long and wide planks individually hand scaped to provide an age old look
to your floor, with edges tumbled and then each plank hand stained and
buffed to provide a truely unique floor. Finished with a tough 6 layer
process using Aluminium Oxide UV Finish giving an ultramatt finish.
The horizontal pattern in bamboo flooring is
made from wider strips laid on top of each other to give it its overall
thickness. It is typically three-plies thick on a 15mm floor. Horizontal
bamboo floors feature more of the unique properties of the bamboo grass, with
more visible nodes (the characteristic joint in the bamboo cane).
 A vertical pattern is made from bamboo strips
that had been laid on edge, with the wider faces of the strips bonded to each
other. This gives the floor more lines within the pattern, as well as a very
consistent and even colouring. Bamboo floors with vertical orientation are ideal
for smaller spaces, making them feel more open and roomy.
