Tong Ling Caramel Vertical Bamboo Flooring is suitable with under floor heating. It can be installed in entrance hallways, kitchens, bedrooms, lounges, games rooms and even bathrooms. Caramel colour is a darker, amber tone that is achieved through smoking process. When bamboo is smoked, the carbonized grains take on a darker, caramel or amber tone all throughout. A vertical pattern is made from bamboo strips that had been laid on edge, with the wider faces of the strips bonded to each other. This gives the floor more lines within the pattern, as well as a very consistent and even colouring. Bamboo floors with vertical orientation are ideal for smaller spaces, making them feel more open and roomy.

	Sometimes called bull nose, stair nose is used to provide an overhang on a stair or a step from one floor to another. Stair nose can either overlap the floor or remain flush with the floor (with a tongue and grove edge). Please note that stair nose should always be secured properly - always with glue or nails. Consider a vertical grain stair nose with a horizontal stairs, or vice versa, for added contrast.
