Tuplex Bamboo Flooring Underlay has a low thermal resistance which makes it ideal to use with a under floor heating system. Tuplex Bamboo Flooring underlay meets every critical demand for bamboo floors. Tuplex comprises two layers of solid polyethene with flexible polystyrene granules sandwiched between them. Its flexible construction helps to smooth minor irregularities of the sub floor and provides an ideal base for a floating hard floor. Tuplex's granular beaded construction creates space between the floorboards and the sub floor, allowing for efficient ventilation.The two-ply polyethen film in Tuplex provides a highly effective, double moisture barrier, so no separate moisture barrier is required. Tuplex meets the latest requirements for impact sound insulation. Because of its high flexibility and excellent ability to recover from impact, its sound insulating properties never wear out.
